Dr. Idowu is a graduate of the University College Hospital, Ibadan Nigeria. She completed her rotational internship at the University College Hospital, Ibadan Nigeria. She worked as a Medical Officer at Duro Soleye Hospital and as an emergency room physician at the Ikeja General Hospital, Lagos Nigeria. In 1994, she traveled to the United States where she studied for and took the ECFMG examination. Dr. Idowu did a residency in Internal medicine at he Cook County Hospital Chicago, IL after which she worked as a service physician in the Ambulatory Care Screening Department of the same hospital. Dr. Idowu is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine, she is certified in Pediatric Advance Life Support and Advance Cardiac Life Support. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and is permanently licensed to practice in the State of Illinois. Dr. Idowu is the Associate Medical Director of Sheridan Medical Center. She is also involved in the Wound Care/ Hyperbanc Clinic at Weiss Memorial Hospital. Dr. Idowu is married with 3 children
