Dr. Erika Vergara-Lopez, ND

Dr. Erika Vergara-Lopez, ND MS Ayurveda is a graduate of Bastyr University. Dr. Erika was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in her early 20’s. This led her on a journey of learning how to heal oneself. After extensive attempts and sub-par results from taking pharmaceuticals, Dr. Erika sought out alternative natural medicine for deeper healing. Her own healing journey led her on a path to pursue and complete a doctoral degree in Naturopathic Medicine and a Masters degree in Ayurvedic Medicine from Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA. She is a firm believer in the body’s innate ability to heal itself. Dr Erika’s specialties include women’s health, gastroenterology health and nutrition. Her healing modalities include an individualistic approach using botanical medicine, nutrition, hydrotherapy and nutrient therapy. She fosters the Naturopathic principle of “Docere” - to educate and pass her knowledge to patients. Dr. Erika was born in Mexico, and is fluent in Spanish. She came to the US when she was seven years old and was raised in the Bay Area. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology with Forensic Science and Minor in Chemistry from Cal State East Bay. She moved to Washington State to pursue her Naturopathic doctorate degree. Her hobbies include gardening, swimming, dancing, hiking, yoga, barre and spending time with her family. Dr. Erika joined the Anti-Aging & Wellness Center Bakersfield, CA in January 2022. She is extremely compassionate and enjoys working and helping all types of patients
